This site is a quiet, more sheltered area surrounded by a stand of white pine and hardwood forest, peeking out through the trees to the pastures with a meandering stream and dedicated wetland. Nothing is more comforting than the sound of the winds blowing gently through the pine boughs.

Bend in the Stream Camp

The lovely, flowing stream bordering the camp on three sides, defines a larger, open area that lends itself to extended family and friend gatherings and activities like badminton. It also borders the pasture so there might be curious cows joining in with an occasional moo.

If you love wetland wildlife and spring frog sound this camp is for you. It is located adjacent to the stream, pond and marsh. Walk along the dike next to the stream or hide in the tall grass and see what you can see.

Cottonwood Camp

There is a pool in the stream beneath the old cottonwood tree and between the pastures and fields where the fish, turtles and young at heart play. It is also offers a picturesque view of the valley and lower 40acres.
